The day James Hollands turned 20!

This week saw the return of James' birthday. He is now a whole year older. The big old 20. Maybe he'll get wiser too. We hope so. Some of our outfits feature new trousers and hair. Great times.

Here is the birthday boy himself! James popped out for his birthday meal donning this wonderful checked shirt and jeans combination as well as a brand spanking new haircut. In keeping with this outfit, James' is also ensuring his lips remain in tip top condition by regularly treating them to a dose of aloe vera Vaseline. Smoochy.

Lauren (with completely regular, normal and in no way distorted feet) is wearing a H&M striped t-shirt and navy Urban Outfitters trousers (a bargain in the sale!). Accessorizing this outfit are two gold Topshop bangles and a ship shape haircut. Nautical.

Hello Alice. Alice attended Pizza Express wearing Urban Outfitters top and trousers, H&M cardigan and Topshop brogues, all teamed with.... a new haircut!! Smooth.

Here's Alex and what is she wearing? Well. She is wearing new Topshop trousers, vintage brogues and an Urban Outfitters shirt. James wasn't satisfied with just one blog appearance, so made a welcome appearance in the background. Hi James. Cool.

Dan (looking very serious) is wearing black jeans and a black coat. But most importantly, he is wearing a Newcastle scarf he's had since he was 7ish. It has a name tag sewn into it. In case it gets lost. Toon Army!

Brendan, as usual, wouldn't let us put him on the blog. So we did. Here he is, living it up in Pizza Express with Rachel. Wearing a checked shirt from Pop Boutique and THAT Topshop hat. Topped off with 2-4-1 pizza and tap water. Classy.

Stay happy,

The day we became the letter 'M'.

Howdy all, time for another update. This week saw the celebration of the end of exams and our wonderful Michaela's birthday. To celebrate, we all headed out on an Otley Run dressed as items/people beginning with the letter 'M'. Check us out.

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL. Michaela attended the M-Otley Run (Or Motley Run, ehhh!) dressed as none other than Minnie Mouse. Her outfit has been accessorized with a tragic looking green apple sourz based drink which, surprisingly, tasted mighty fine. Mousey.

And here is lovely lovely Alice. Alice dressed up as the red M&M. Doesn't she look wonderful? Supporting the outfit is a gesture only the best M&M would make- thumbs up! Mental.

Alex here. Dressed up as the green M&M. Check out the home made t-shirt. Magical.

Hello Lauren. Lauren is dressed as Madonna from the 80s. Very Vogue (vogue... get it? VOGUE). Marvellous.

Our final M&M making an appearance; James attended as the yellow M&M, complete with yellow wayfarers. Initially the plan was to go out wearing the tshirt and the tights. But eventually he decided to add a pair of shorts; Alice was happy. Magnificent.
Peace out from the Ave xxx

The day we went to Let's Be Friends!

It's a brand new year and we're back in Chestnut Avenue! And this time round, we're going to be updating the blog more often. The snow has melted, the heating's fixed and the Christmas ddecorations are still up. Meanwhile we headed out to Let's Be Friends at The Common Place the other night and it was bloody lovely! Here's what went on!

Lauren had to be involved, even though she was still in lovely Lincoln. Here she is on her home stairs wearing Topshop leggings and a Primark jumper. Casual.

Now for those at Chestnut. James wears his H&M Prague jeans, vintage shirt, vintage £4 shoes, and Alex's amazing Topshop jacket. It's not the first time he's worn it out either. Dramatic.

Alice wears an Urban Outfitters dress and some new Office shoes which she can finally wear because the snow has melted and she doesn't have to wear hiking shoes to uni to avoid falling over. Hurray!

Alex is wearing a Topshop dress and shoes, tights ripped by a fall on the ice back home, Religion jacket and Topshop bag kindly purchased by her boyf. Rock n' Roll.
That's all from the avenue for now, stay tuned for our revision blog, you know it makes sense!
